Set a retention period for a Space or folder. Choose to flag due records for review or move eligible records to Trash automatically in the nightly process—with the normal 30-day restore window.
Legal holds with a clear scope.
Preserve individual documents or entire Spaces and folders. Active holds block disposal and file replacement; location holds also cover new records filed there.
Immutable backup copies.
Encrypted backup copies use time-locked retention to protect against alteration and deletion during their retention period. Integrity checks and monitoring support the recovery process.
Access with accountability.
Company membership and Space permissions govern access. Audit records track retention changes, hold creation, scope changes and release.

How does the 7-day trial work?
Choose a plan and complete signup and checkout. A card is required before workspace access. Your seven trial days start after checkout completes. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first subscription charge. Feature availability depends on your selected plan.
Can I see Narra before starting a trial?
Yes. Book a 30-minute call with the Nalto team to walk through Narra and discuss your documents, forms and approval process. You do not need to start a trial before the call.
What can my team do in Narra?
Organize and search documents, manage tasks, request document reviews and PDF signatures, collect form submissions, and configure form and document workflows. Availability depends on company settings and entitlements.
Can Narra help us move beyond paper forms?
Yes. Start a form from scratch or create an editable AI draft from a description or a picture. Check the fields, configure review stages and routing, then test your process before sharing.
Can people outside our company sign?
Yes, when your company enables external signers. Send a PDF to one or more people in sequence or at the same time, with deadlines and reminders. Completion adds signature pages and a certificate to the document.
How do tasks and messaging fit together?
Tasks help make ownership and follow-up visible. Private one-to-one messaging and a combined task-conversation inbox are in the next release; they are shown here as an upcoming feature.
Can we bring our existing documents?
